The Philoptochos Ladies of the Annunciation Boston Cathedral, under the leadership of their President, Mrs. Frances Giannakopoulos, hosted their Annual Barbecue for the residents of the Philoxenia House on Thursday, June 3rd.   Almost a hundred individuals gathered  at the Cathedral Center in Brookline to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon.  After a tasty BBQ, prepared by Mr. Ted Papaslis and Mr. Larry Giannakopoulos, Marios Adamakis, a resident of the Philoxenia House, wowed the crowd by playing the piano and singing some Greek tunes.  The Philoptochos Ladies then surprised Mario with a birthday cake.  Read the rest of this entry »
